Let's face it: Times are tough all over many parts of the world economically speaking. However, this is not a time to fear, but to continue working together to find solutions.
On a small scale, that is what we at Mountain High Imports are trying to facilitate. As our customers continue to purchase Palestinian products, money flows to the devastated national economy of Palestine. In trade, our customers get some of the best olive oil in the world--yes, in the world--and handicrafts produced from traditional industries in Palestine.

Successful wine, chocolate, and olive oil tasting!
Last night's wine, chocolate, and olive oil tasting went very well! The vast majority of those who came through the store had never tried Palestinian olive oil or za'tar. Nearly everyone who tried the zayt u za'tar mix purchased za'tar. Watching their eyes light up and their cheeks rise as the fresh herbs and fruity olive oil hit their palates reminded me that the doors are open as we work to educate people in the US about the finer sides of Palestine.
And that is why we exist.
